“I cannot say whether there is nationalism, since I am a nationalist, but not one of those chauvinists”, says a resident of Sveti Nikole in regards to CIVIL Media’s question on whether there is nationalism in Sveti Nikole.
Another one says: “There is neither nationalism, nor patriotism! The town is peaceful, we have good coexistence now. There used to be, people were divided while VMRO was in power. Now everything is in order”.
“There is no nationalism. Here it is not such a mixed environment, so such a thing is not felt”, says another person from Sveti Nikole.
“There is no nationalist frame of mind here. We are hospitable”, considers another resident of Sveti Nikole.
“There is no nationalism here. We live nicely. There is agriculture and many strong businessmen”, says another.
The survey is part of the project “Green Future”, which CIVIL – Center for Freedom is implementing in cooperation with the Heinrich-Böll Foundation from Sarajevo.
