A video from a statement made by one of the participants in the protest for clean air that was held this weekend in the Skopje City Park.
The statement is made by an Italian woman who got married and has been living in Skopje for 12 years, where as a result of the polluted air she has been diagnosed with bronchiectasis.
“I am struggling four years now to throw out what has entered into my lungs. But it stays, and it makes no difference that it is spring now. It’s here! I can feel it! And it hurts! It hurts when I cough, my heart aches! And that is not a metaphor”, she says.
