CIVIL – Center for Freedom notes great interest and support for the Citizen’s Charter and the project Society Without Borders in Stip as well.
At the Info Stand that was set up at the city square in Stip on May 10, citizens had the opportunity to learn about CIVIL’s efforts and about the contents of the Citizen’s Charter, as a global document on the promotion of human rights and active participation of citizens in the decision-making process.
CIVIL’s team was available for questions from citizens, as well as for the local media at the press conference that was held at 13:00h.
All interested citizens from Stip had the opportunity to sign the petition for support to the “Citizen’s Charter” and to support it through a photo or video petition.
In terms of the topics justice and environment, the team of CIVIL Media conducted a survey among the citizens, and meetings were also held with representatives of civil society where mutual promotion and support for the Citizen’s Charter were discussed.
CIVIL is implementing the project Society Without Borders in cooperation with the Foundation „Heinrich Böll“ – Office in Sarajevo.
