Facing identity issues

The long process of resolving the dispute with Greece, the signing of the Prespa Agreement, facing the collective past, facing others’ image about ourselves, but also our own prejudices and historical stereotypes about the neighbours, were the occasion for the project “Losing identity or…?”, which CIVIL – Center for Freedom is implementing in cooperation with the Heinrich-Böll Foundation from Germany.

A dozen of experts and creators of public opinion, at the panel discussion “Losing identity or…?” that was organized by CIVIL – Center for Freedom spoke about the identity and social-political issues related to the process of overcoming the Macedonian-Greek name dispute.

In the following period, starting from today, CIVIL Media will be publishing individual presentations of Zvezdan Georgievski, Petar Bogojevski, Mirjana Maleska, Mersiha Smailovik, Vojo Manevski, Saso Ordanoski, Katerina Kolozova, Ljubco Georgievski, Mirjana Najcevska, Sinisa Stankovic and Diana Tahiri.

Their views and analyses on what is being gained and what lost with the Prespa Agreement, will be published in the following days on CIVIL’s media platform, but also in the printed publication that will be published in December.
