The construction of a new solar power plant has started in the Sveti Nikole village of Gorubinci. The company- MGI Energetika DOO is investing around one million euros. The nominal power of the installed 2,196 photovoltaic silicon panels is one megawatt.
The Mayor of the Municipality of Sveti Nikole, Sasho Velkovski, says that the Municipality of Sveti Nikole is a committed partner of the business community, including the energy sector. As the implementer of the government strategy for increasing the energy capacity of renewable sources, he pointed out that the municipality ensures the best conditions and puts its capacities at the disposal of the business sector to invest in that area.
