The LogEx Community continues to strengthen cooperation between higher education institutions, the labor market, civil society, and environmental stakeholders across the Western Balkans, promoting sustainable development and circular economy principles throughout the region.

Established in December 2021, LogEx was created as a partnership dedicated to bridging the gap between education and employment. Through joint activities, knowledge exchange, and regional cooperation, the network contributes to building human capital, supporting innovation, and encouraging environmentally responsible practices.

Circular Economy Week 2026

A key highlight of the community’s activities was the organization of Circular Economy Week 2026, a regional event focused on sustainability, innovation, and collaboration.

The week opened with a keynote presentation by Nikki Murseli, founder of DYVO Lab, who shared insights from the Prishtina Sustainable Design Week initiative. Workshops and practical activities demonstrated how young professionals and students can contribute to solving environmental challenges through design thinking and waste reduction practices.

The second day focused on regional strategies and partner achievements. Organizations from across the Western Balkans presented initiatives related to recycling infrastructure, green platforms, environmental education, and community engagement. Participants exchanged experiences and explored opportunities for future cooperation.

Another important event during the week was the presentation of the Zero Waste Montenegro CiDiCon Cluster, held at Europe House in Podgorica. The initiative showcased innovative approaches to circular and digital construction, promoting collaboration among stakeholders from the Danube Region and beyond.

Regional Cooperation and Impact

The event highlighted achievements from partner organizations across the region. Contributions from North Macedonia, Kosovo, Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and Montenegro demonstrated the growing momentum behind circular economy initiatives and sustainable development projects.

Through continued cooperation, education, and community engagement, LogEx aims to support a resilient and greener future for the Western Balkans. The activities showcased during Circular Economy Week reaffirm the importance of partnerships in addressing environmental challenges and creating long-term social and economic benefits.

As emphasized during the event, meaningful change often begins with committed individuals and communities working together toward a common goal of sustainability.

CIVIL/GREEN CIVIL is active member of the LogEx community, contributing to regional efforts that promote circular economy principles, environmental sustainability, and stronger connections between education, civil society, and the labor market across the Western Balkans.
